To improve the impact of the
sentence being delivered often the noun is replaced by a word of
another part of speech. This word that is used in place of a noun is
called a pronoun. The pronoun, better delivers the meaning and
improves the impact to the message carried by the sentence.
वाक्य को अधीक प्रभावशील बनाने के लिये कई बार संज्ञा की जगह पर किसी
अन्य शब्द-भेद के शब्द का उपयोग किया जाता. ऐसे संज्ञा की जगह उपयुक्त
होने वाले शब्द को सर्वनाम कहते हैं. सर्वनाम के उपयोग से वाक्य द्वारा
दिये जाने वाले संदेश को बेहतर तरीके से प्रस्तुत किया जा सकता है.
अंग्रेजी में सर्वनाम को Pronoun कहते हैं और इनका प्रयोग Noun के स्थान
पर किया जाता है.
Take a look at the below two
sentences. निम्न दो sentences पर गौर कीजिए.
1.
Raju is absent
because Raju is ill.
राजू नही आया क्योंकी
राजू बिमार है.
2.
Raju is absent
becausehe is ill.
राजू नहीं आया
क्योंकी वह बिमार है.
In the first sentence,
the proper noun Raju has been repeatedly used, whereas the use of he
(the pronoun) in the second sentence feels better. पहले वाक्य
में बार-बार Raju बोलने की एवज दूसरी बार Raju के स्थान पर दूसरे में he
बोलने से ज्यादा अच्छा लगता है.
Due to the use of
pronoun it is clear that we are discussing about the same person.
When the noun is repeated each time it sometimes feels that the
discussion is about some other person or object. Pronoun के
प्रयोग से स्पष्ट होता है की उसी व्यक्ति के बारे में बात हो रही है जिस
का उल्लेख पहले किया जा चुका है. हर बार नाम के उपयोग करने से लगता है
जैसे हर बार एक नये पात्र के बारे में चर्चा की जा रही है.
